how long does it take lexapro to take full effect?

I took lexapro for 6 months twice daily just like my doctor said, it did not help my depresion but it sure caused me to sleep alot. I heard somwhere that this drug is very dangerous and many people that take it try to kill themselves. be carefull with this stuff.

It takes at least two weeks. You have to take it at the same time everyday, and don't miss a dose.

It's pretty fast, 30 minutes they say. Let it work on you. Stay in bed, keep it dark and quiet. Best of luck to you!!
