I want to buy a Pentax K 1000 in bangalore or chennai. Where can i find it. I know it is not a current model. But it is a good student camera. So i want to buy is as a second hand. Can any one suggest me where can i buy it. (Bangalore or Chennai)

Pardon my intrusion upon your question here for I have no answer to your problem
I simply wanted to tell you -- you are hunting for a superb piece of photo gear !! I am a professional commercial photographer with many years in the imaging business--- and have owned no less than three of this particular camera in my lifetime-- each time I've sold them for some other super new something--- I've regreted doing so !!
They are basic--- they are built extremely well--- they take superb photos AND they (being totally without automations ect) Force you to THINK about the photo that you are taking--- they are great cameras-- and once you find your's --- don't ever let it go !!!

if you looking for a deal look on your local craigslist. I found one here locally for $25. E-bay is another alternative but because k-1000 are so popular with students you might have to pay a little. If you going to use e-bay start shopping now the closer you get to the start of the semester the harder it will get.

The best source for used equipment is www.keh.com.
I assume they would ship anywhere.
Fair rating system and return policy. I have bought from them before.
B & H Photo is also reliable, but they don't carry as much used stuff.
