I'm burning out, filling out the same stuff for application after application. I'm 18, and i'm applying all over the country, and I'm getting sick of it. Please get me a job quick!

We''ll first off, did you go to dealer school or are you just trying to get your foot in the door? I started out going to dealer school and then just hit all the breaking houses i could find, i would go out to as many audditions as i could and i would play poker in there rooms a lot so they got to see me around a lot. Getting noticed and dealing a good game are the keys to getting the job, if you are a good dealer and have a good personallity then you should be able to get a job.

If you are a certified dealer you should have no problem finding a job as a poker dealer. Maybe you should try to get you foot in the door at a casino by getting hired in another position then transfer to poker after a while. But the bottom line is, at 18 years of age you are an adult, part of being an adult is finding your own job, no one is going to do it for you. Good luck!
