Prophecy and Divination have the same meaning... Obviously Prophecy is related to the word Divine, but Eternity must exist in order for any part of time to exist.... Since it is all one Reality, and only a divided mind sees it divisively. Prophecy is merely the acknowledgment that, with cause and effect, all things are certain, if the mind grasping it is all-comprehensive.

Ignorance can't prophesy, only knowledge can, and whatever has higher knowledge has more robust prophecy, perfect knowledge is infallible. Man does not posses perfect knowledge.

Yes: I say a definite YES to your question posed ! This is attributed to the natural proclivity towards sin prominent, in human beings. God started the human race and very well, knows the course or path human beings will take. Prophecy therefore, can be correctly deduced as having the distinction of being "divinely ordained". God says, "The heart is deceitful above all things" ... see, also: Matthew , chapter 15, verse 19 !

Some of today's prophets are false prophets and the Bible warns us about them. You can tell the difference between them and Biblical prophets because what those men and women prophesied not came true then but is coming true today and will come true in the future. The same cannot be said about those who claim to prophets today - so the answer to your question is only those who are true Biblical prophets - such as the Two Witnesses and others who are really sent by God- can claim divine inspiration.

If i went to an air-racing show, and upon getting out of the car, turned to my then-husband and said "A plane is going to crash today", everyone with us staring at me like I was a freak, and upon exiting the airshow, a plane crashes, everyone staring at me like I was a real freak, and that qualified as prophecy, then yes, because I'm also an ordained minister.

If you are referring to prophecy from Adam, Noah, Abraham etc... for the people of that time - yes. That is documented in scripture. I also believe that any of us may receive prophecy for ourselves if we are in-tune enough with the spirit. That prophecy is only for ourselves and not for someone else though. You do not receive prophecy for me and I do not receive it for you.

Sometimes. I think every prophecy has to be tested (1 John 4:1)
But there are prophets who are true messangers of God. It is them that are touched by God.

I think most prophesy is so vague that it could be interpreted any way you want to interpret it. In a nutshell - I think prophesy is bunk.
