Some of you all are saying that evolution and Atheism are two different things. If you don't believe on one of them because they are different than what is your explanation of life.

Just because we can't understand completely the complexities of life and infinity doesn't mean we should make up a god to justify it all!

I don't understand how an atheist can reject the theory of evolution as this is really the only possible explanation for an atheist for how we came into existance.
However atheism and evolution are really two different things because there are many people who accept the theory of evolution but also believe in God. At least among Christians and Jews there are many who accept the theory of evolution, I am not sure about the Muslims.

You are a very confused young man...

Look, this is easy to understand. Atheism is the belief that there is no god. (got that part?)

Evolution is a scientific process that was theorized in the earlier part of the 19th century and has since been found to be sound and verifiable. It is not something which requires faith.... it is factual, i.e., it has been verified by real events and real data and it has been seen to be repetitiously and reliably predictable. (got that part?)

Okay... here goes.... these two things, the belief "Atheism" and the natural process "evolution" are not the same (read back if you've missed something.)

Evolution has been sited as a reasonable alternative (to creation) for understanding our coming into existence. This allows the atheist to say with better conviction, (with proof if you will,) that god is not necessary (and does not contribute to) our understanding of the processes of initiation to our being or the development of our intelligent human species over the course time.

As for your final question, the "explanation" of life, (I assume that here you are actually asking, 'how did people become people?")

We are an animal species and we became our unique selves just as all of the other animals of the earth have come into being their unique species.... The earliest life forms were quite simple and undifferentiated, (Sorry but I won't even try to explain that to you. Look it up after you're clear on the basics.) ...As these simple lower beings grew and changed over time, (by the evolutionary process,) they became more and more variably individualized and more and more complex - they became unique animal species that were like the modern species... the ones that we see today. We are one of those more complex species.... we (human people) were once a civilization of cavemen. (get it?)

Nobody 'made' us - we've become a developed species just as all of the other species have come into being. We are here as products of a naturally occurring process and not as mystical products of a godly creation of any kind.

I hope you comprehend this now... it's not that hard of a concept.

(And hey, were you a home-schooled kid, or what? You should have gotten all of this crap back at your middle school grade levels. Why are we having to teach it to you here?)

Evolution and Atheism are different things.

As an Atheist, I could believe that we are all in the Matrix, that I am a program and Neo created me as a virus to infiltrate the Matrix. An Atheist can believe whatever they like, however goofy and outrageous it might seem. All Atheism means is lack of belief in Gods.

But, I agree with the theory of Evolution.

hey carlos, they are two different things. you can believe in evolution and not atheism. You can believe God created evolution. You can believe that is all by chance. It is all a matter of freedom of religion and speech. Usually atheist and evolutionist go hand in hand but sometimes there are some that do not concur. Open it up a little, we are a tiny decimal among the infinite. NOBODY KNOWS. whoever says they do is bull shi t.

Yes, atheism and evolution are completely different subjects, just not mutually exclusive. I believe I can't know absolute answers to unknowns. Evolution is completely obvious to me. I have with my own senses witnessed it's proof every day of my life.
Read Job 12:7-10
But now ask the beasts to teach you, and the birds of the air to tell you; or the reptiles on the earth to instruct you, and the fish of the sea to inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of God has done this? In his hand is the soul of every living thing, and the life breath of all mankind.

I asked the beasts, birds, reptiles, and fish, they taught me evolution.

They're two different things in the sense that if evolution were disproven, it would have no effect on an atheist's (lack of) belief in God.

It's possible to be an atheist and think neither is correct, and that no one knows how we got here exactly. I know one who fits into that category. But you'll find that the vast majority of atheists accept evolution.

They are two different thing. I personally believe in evolution, but it is possible to be an atheist without it.

You could say you didn't know how humans go here. Not knowing the answer to your question at all provides no evidence that there is a god. It only means that you don't know.

do a little research into the two. atheism is not believing in gods, evolution is how life developed into what it is today and will keep developing. atheists, who are people who do not believe in gods, accept evolution, but that does not make them the same thing.
what you assumed is similar to saying mayans are creation itself.

They ARE different things. That doesn't mean you're either atheist or into Evolution.

I'm atheist and I trust in Evolution because it's a scientific fact.

Atheism means that you don't believe in God. Most atheist believe in evolution because it is the most scientific viable explanation.
