They like honesty. They prefer not to be pushed into situations. Let them make the decisions. Once you get to know each other and communication opens up, then you will find out what can be expected in the relationship. Back to first base for a moment....just be a friend to begin with. That way there is a lesser tendency for them to feel threatened.

We like girls that have good conversation skills because they help cover up our deficiency. You're able to draw us out and feel more confident talking to you. We like girls that are kind and non-judgemental, since there is probably some insecurity at the root of our shyness.
The best way to talk to a shy person is to bring up a subject that they are particularly interested in, because they will be able to think of many things to say off the top of their head, and they'll be able to show some passion about something.

most shy guys like extroverted, semi aggressive girls because otherwise nothing gets done. I say SEMI aggressive because they get scared easily and kind of need to be handled gently at times :)
