how many children do you have and/or want? how many do you think is too many?

when i was pregnant for my third just about everybody told me i was crazy for having a third- and possibly wanting more!

Depends on the family.

I am expecting number 3 and may have a 4th depending on how our finances and home life is.

I don't think anyone is crazy for wanting a bigger or smaller family. Each family has to determine what they can handle and afford. Sometimes people stop at one, sometimes they don't stop (the Duggar family is on #17).

Don't worry about what others think. They aren't the ones who have to raise your babies.

I have one child as of now however i would like to have one more. I just can't seem to make up mind if i should or not.
My son is five years old and i am not getting any younger (27 years old) so i feel like the clock is ticking on me for some reason. I would like to have another in the next 2 years.

I think one child is good enough and two is plenty.
Everyone is different though. My mom and daddy had 7 kids together.
My papa and mama (on my daddy's side) had 21 kids together and my mom's parents had 8 together.

I had my tubes tied after my second girl who is now 5 months old......As of right now I don't regret doing it, but many have told me I will.....I am happy with my two girls. Sometimes I think maybe 3 would have been better but It's not something i'll ponder over.....I think the number of children you have depends on how big of a family u want and unfortunetly if you can afford them or not. You have a lot of ppl that have kids just to get "more handouts" and thats pretty sad, those ppl shouldn't have children.....I think if you want 3 thats great! If you want 6 thats fine to. No one has to raise them but you so have as many as u like!:) lol......

I want to have three children although I initially wanted five or six. I always imagine how nice it would be to have big family gatherings at Christmas or other occassions. I don't know if there is a black and white answer to your question though. If you have enough love and resources to go around than is there too many children? As far as people saying you are crazy, maybe they are envious or admiring of your energy (as it does take lots of energy to care for children!!!).

I think it depends on each person's / couple's circumstances. My husband and I have 2, a boy and a girl. I would like to have one more in the future, but everyone, including the hubby say, "2 is enough, there's one of each and that's perfect." I have a sister and 3 brothers, and my mom is one of 9, so I come from a big family. I say the more the merrier!!

I have two and want two more (even numbers). Originally I wanted 10 but decided they are too expensive.
I dont think any is to many. It depends on each family. Some family one is to much others 10 isnt enough.
As long as you've got love to give and everyone is happy, thats what matters. Not numbers.

I had one...if I were younger when I had her I would have had two...For ME anymore than two would have been far too many. Thinking back I am very glad I had only one.

if you can afford them...give them the love they deserve and help them become good people for our society than have as many as you want..

DON'T LISTEN TO EVERYONE ELSE.IT IS WHAT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER WANTS .EVERYONE ELSE ISN'T GOING TO HELP YOU RAISE THEM NOR GIVE BIRTH FOR YOU.SO DO WHAT YOU TOO WANT .NOT EVERYONE ELSE.BY THE WAY ME AND HUSBAND HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 14 YEARS WE HAVE 6 KIDS AND WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH .
