You have to have all your cavities filled and have to get your teeth cleaned, before you have your braces put on.

it depends where you get your braces from i have braces right now and i get them from the orthodontics but if you get them from the dentist they will probably check for cavitys and do the regular stuff that they normaly do. When i go to the denstist they check to see if everything is all right if any brackets are off then they clean your teeth and check for cavitys.

AND wear your rubber bands when they tell you to start because i dont and i have had them on for another year i am suppose to be getting them off soon 3 years this june

Yes, you have to remove your cavities or get them filled. If you didn't, it is harder to remove cavities when braces are on. Usually the dentist or orthodontist will check your teeth to see if it needs to be filled.

YES, THE CAVITIES HAVE TO BE REPAIRED FIRST.
FOR AN ORTHODONTIST TO PUT BRACES ON TEETH WHICH HAVE DECAY IS TOTALLY UNCONSCIONABLE.

You have too. They won't give you braces unless they are removed. or drilled. They'll look in your mouth before.

get them asap, you dont choose them to get an extra advantageous. in case you watch on your braces to return off, the decay can penetrate the pulp of the tooth inflicting it to die. as quickly as a tooth will become necrotic, or ineffective, the tooth will choose a root canal. Its superb while they are small. the probabilities of the filling staying in place longer is bigger while the hollow area is small.
