God is on both America's and Iraq's side. We are not fighting against Iraq. We first went in to liberate the nation from a murdering dictator who violated the terms of the cease-fire agreement from '91, and since then violated 17 United nations resolutions, and provided materially to terrorists. What we're dealing with now in Iraq are some Sunni Saddam loyalist (who are the minority in that country), and many foreign jihadists who are entering Iraq from all over the region. 15 of 18 provinces in Iraq are fairly calm and secure with most of the population supporting the coalition, but the mainstream media won't focus on that.

Whoooaaa!! It's late and I'm probably thinking too hard... (plus I'm old)....
God is on no side... Mankind created this mess.
I truly hope that we (the US) does ot do to Iraqis what we did to the Vietnamese.... create a mess and then abandon them. I don't like the war, but how does the US (and the world) do right by the people of Iraq? The US can't clean up the mess we've created....
Edit: A biased opinion from a humble *ashamed* american

Wakan Tanka --- The Creator is on Our Side and Here Why!!!
Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).
2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.
3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.
4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.
5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.
6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.
7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.
8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.
9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.
10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.
11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.
12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.
Hokahe!!!

God is on the side of humanity! Right now, neither side is being very humane to the other (or to their own people for that matter). But God is watching and humanity will prevail! All we can do as individuals is practice what our government has yet to learn and/or implement - be humane to one another!

The thing about God is, he created all and stands back to let each individual go for whatever. In that way, God experiences everything as the totality of all actions and feelings.

One cannot say that The Almighty stands for one side , with his infinite power comes infinite love and kindness. He loves his followers and his people. He is angered by both sides and wants both to repent for their sins. The laws of "humanity" have failed us only the only law that can free us is the law that freed captives and sinners . That law of which I speak of is the law of The Almighty. Otherwise known as the Good News.

He's not on anyone's side right know. I think this is the devil's world, not his. God is loving and kind, he would NEVER do all the terrible things that are happening these days.

God is on the side of those that love Him and follow His Word.
Those that choose to not love Him and not accept His Son Jesus Christ are merely in His way.><>
