There's this guy at school that I have a crush on because I think he's very cute. I've never talked to him [except when we sat next to each other in science & there was forced talk at times] but he knows who I am. I want to compliment him by saying "hey you look really nice today", but would he think that's weird? Any other suggestions? Thank you in advanced.

well i've told the girl i liked "u look cute today" and she said "thanks haha". and shes told me "u look cute" and ive told her "thanks".
i dont think its weird. im a guy who doesnt find it weird saying it or receiving it.
i think when you say it, u shouldnt be nervous. be calm, casual, and fun. smile when u say it dont be scared and start being weird. im sure he wont find it strange at all. and who knows maybe hell compliment u back

Well, I wouldn't turn to him as he sat down and just say "hey hottie!" specially if there was forced conversation...
I think I might wait until he's wearing a shirt that looks really good on him, or a hat..and bring that up instead of just his looks; cuz that might be a little odd. Depending on the guy, he might be freaked, or be flattered..heck, who knows with guys? ;D
I'd try something like, hey i like your hat..and smile or something and hopefully he will say something back..and you can keep talking..about the store he bought it at or something like that
if not, well, you tried, and if hes not going for it, wait a month or something and try one of the other answers! ;)

If you both are shy, do some small compliments.
* Nice shoes, that shirt is neat, ect. *
The next day, add some to it, maybe even use "I" sentences.
* I like the clothes you are wearing, I was wondering... *

I wouldnt think it was weird, I would think it was really nice to tell you the truth. BUT...all guys are different, I just like a girl to tell me straight up "hey, I like you, how do you feel" but that is just me.

find something that he is into. like football, and be like hey did you see that game last night, its a good converstation stricker. he might even take notice that your taking notice into things he likes wink wink
