I know that you need at least 30 mins of Cardio in your target heart rate. Will you get increased benefit from a longer time and is there "too much" cardio?

There's actually more freedom to it than you thought. You can either go beyond 30 minutes, and do (ex) 40 minutes of moderate intensity "training"

OR

20-30 minute sessions in which you go at an extremely high intensity, where you are at your target heart rate for anywhere from 15-25 minutes. The thing to remember about cardio is that you also burn calories after the session, so it's not necessary to exercise for 60 minutes. If you build your metabolism by eating many small meals throughout the day, and doing consistent sessions of high intensity cardio, you will achieve your desired goal.

i do 60-90 minutes four times a week...i hate to strength train. I have been seen a doctor for weightloss as well and he said it was fine to do cardio for that long.
