We really really like each other and he hugged me today and told me that he loved me and always would but idk if his mom and my dad would agree to it so i need advice.

i just met my dad and his family and me and my step brother have an attraction for each other. some people think its nasty but we arnt blood and we just met and we havent growed up with each other so what do yall think. most of you are going to say its gross but idc say whatever you want becuz we are back together now

Is it socially acceptable? Probably not. Is there anything particularly wrong with it? Not especially.
Just keep these two very important factors in mind; is he your friend, and is he in your bloodline?

The two of you need to go talk to your parents and take their advice. Remember there is really nothing wrong with dating a step brother, but if things dont work out, you are still related and well.. can you deal with that? I would have to look at him like a brother, not a lover. Good luck!

If you're young enough that you need parental permission, don't do it.
Don't even think of coming this close to incest unless you're both at least in your 20s, have had serious other relationships, and generally have a chance at having a mature perspective on things.

You can't help that youre attracted to someone! First of all, you would be attracted to them as a random person on a street, it's not like you like him because he's your step brother. ALSO, he is not blood related to you. I say, try to move on because it really would tear everybody's life apart,including your own, if you persue this interest, even if it may be mutual.

Well technically you two aren't related (only by marriage) so It's not a bad thing. Your parents may think that it's kinda wierd but if you both explain your feelings to them then it should all be okay. Just remember that if you two break up you still have to live with each other. Hope that helps!

Just be best buddies, No touching again, Do not allow it, He wants to have a touching relationship with with you girl. You must stop that from happening. Tell him no more hugs. You cannot be left alone with him. You may have to talk to a teacher or preacher to get help.

Yes. It's so wrong, on so many levels. Sure, you may not be related by blood, but to start dating will create drama that could possibly polarize your family for years.
He's your BROTHER, by marriage. Don't go there.

don't get yourself into that situation. that's a toughie. it's just going to cause problems. i dunno...maybe talk to your parents about it, but don't go into detail. see how they react. then make your decision. i mean, he's not blood, but you do live in the same house and that too could cause problems...then what happens if you two realize that you don't want to be together? that would be too awkward.
