is there that God exists?

I don't want to know about anything that is testible. Sounds disgusting. ;)

Update: Wow, I'm modifying my answer to direct a comment at another answer by Peace C. Your arguement doesn't "fly" when a Christian rambles it off. It does no better coming from a muslim. The "it has to have a maker" argument is nonsensical and self-referencial. (See, Steve K just made my point for me. LOL)

In the Bible that was Authored by God tells us in Isaiah 40:22 about the circle of the earth, in 2Peter 3:10 it talks about atomic fission, Psalms 8:8, Isaiah 43:16 the ocean currents that we travel from continent to continent on, Job 36:27 & Amos 9:6 the Hydrological cycle, Eccles.1:6-7 the jet stream, Job 40&41 & Psalm 74:14 dinosaurs, Jeremiah 33:22 innumerable stars, Jonah 2:5-6 mountains under the oceans. These were all written thousands of years ago!! How did the writers of the Bible know that these things existed before science proved their existence?? God told them what to write!

The honest truth is that there isn't any proof that God exists.
Here are the major arguments and personally I don't believe in any of them.
1. Ontological argument of St Anselm. I can't understand it! (Google it for yourself).
2. Cosmological argument: The idea is very similar to the argument from design. (Google it.)
3. Teleological Argument: every day in every way, the world is getting better and better..... And that proves that there must be a Driver for this progress. Well, it is easy to dismiss progress. But don't you want the very latest model?
4. Moral Argument: Why are men moral? Why shouldn't they just not have any morals at all? There must be some force of morality out there that drives our consciences....
5. "I know God exists because I have met Him...." Well, why not just laugh?

Against these arguments we have the laughter of Voltaire and the Lisbon earthquake which destroyed loads of innocent people and the Freudian psychological argument against God: We made Him up to replace our Fathers.
Hope that helps.
Allow me to state my own position: I am a Catholic and I personally accept the Bible, especially the New Testament, as revealed truth. I don't, myself, think this needs proof.
Do you, personally, exist?

Well... the fella who came up with plate tectonics was laughed out of many geology journals before his theory was published, Pluto is no longer a planet, carbon dating is kinda subjective, genetic research has gotten us no closer to definitively solving the nature vs nurture argument, and George Bush is still the president of the United States. My point? Many things in life are merely position... the whys, wherefores, and reasoning are obscure, and sometimes make sense to only a select few (the Bush thing really stymies me). Testable proof is in the eye of the beholder... and in many cases, the majority. How's that? Yeah... *grin* I'm confused too!

It's more a question of testable logic or testable reasoning. Which scenario is the more rational one: 1, unattended particles turned themselves into people? or 2, we have been designed by an intelligent creator.

The evidence is clear. There can be no watch without a watchmaker. If, while you were hiking, you came across a laptop computer laying on the ground you wouldn't think it got there by random processes. it would be obvious that some intelligence was at work. We are infinitely more complex than a computer.

Is it reasonable to conclude that we arose from nothing and by nothing? We had to be fully developed at creation to be able to function. What good is a set of half-developed eyes? Use your amazing eyes to discover the Creator.

you are proof that god exists,e.g when u were little and u got hurt u would say mum, as u got older u would say" OH GOD" so if ur mum exists so does god. when u need help u turn 2 god why would u ask help from him if he did not exist. no one can prove it but deep down we all know it..!!

Absolutely none whatsoever. Which is why you get these huge answers from people insisting he does - they think quoting a bunch of words is proof!

The most irrefutable proof is knowing God's Holy Spirit. You can only test that by becoming acquainted with it yourself.
