Myself included of course. I just mean when I ask a question on religion I get nonstop answers, but the opposite is true when I ask about science and polotics. Don't hate me because I believe that religion is not relitive to todays society, it is only a belief. I don't hate you because of what you believe. I am not generlalizing when I speak of religious people, it is just an observation, I am speaking to the vast majority, not to everyone.

Your question reflects the fact that you do not believe that religion has any significance what so ever. Christianity, for one is concerned about many of the issues that plague us today. It is about life and death, and making correct choices. It is about the proper behavior for mankind, and what his place in this universe should be.

You say science, which I am not against, being a sciene major myself, but what is science without morals. The world is threatend today by countries "testing" their nuclear capabilities (NK, IR, PAK, IND). Are there any genetic weapons being developed? Are the costs of medical care and pharmeuticals increasing?

You say politics, to which I say, look at our last two elections. A country torn and polarized by parties in dire need of good leadership. Are we really pulling together as one country?

News for you, religious people are the only ones who really care about me and you and the world. The others are either self-preservationists and/or money-chasers.

That is odd. The politic board is very similar to this one in a lot of ways. I am surprised that you would say you don't get many answers there. I was doing that one for a while and it got as ugly as this one.

Science doesn't evoke the same emotions so it isn't crowded. It takes a little longer to have an answer posted, and once you get a correct one, you won't see the same thing posed over and over because you aren't asking for opinions, just facts.

"God is dead", thus spoke the New York Times some years ago. Sadly you are correct about the relevency thing; however, not for religions of the world but more precisely, God. Nobody considers God anymore. But just because we have forgotten Him in no way means that He has forgotten us. His plans are still the same for us whether we choose to acknowlege Him or not. At our judgements, when we stand before God and have to give an account for the things that were done in our bodies, we will acknowlege Him and His judgement will be relevant.

Science, I have easier sources of information for that. Politics, well, I was reported every time I looked at a question on politics. Religion, it's a fun topic. It's scary sometimes what people think. I really can't spend every second of my life concentrating on issues of deep social importance, it's too stressful. I like a diversion.

global warming we as humans do alot of pollution to the ozone layer, and thats why its eating away at our ozone layer causing the sun to heat up our planet. i believe if the earths temperature is 3 degrees higher than normal well all die of the heat. and if its like 3 degrees too low well all freeze to death. animals like polar bears are suffering bcuz their homes are melting all around them making it harder to survive. we can change it by do simple things. turn off the water when your not using it (shorter showers too) . recycling. using eco friendly products (hair products, paper, boxed food made out of recylcled paper..etc) using fabric bags instead of plastic bags when you go shopping. carpooling. pull the plugs on aplliances before you leave the house (microwaves, hairdryers, lamps, tv, toaster...etc.) i do most of the stuff that i named above. even if you dont do all of them, doing a little or some can help.

Risen spiriruality solves many miseries of human beings.

Religion is not spirituality, though it may lead one to spirituality.
