Will we be able to see each other and talk with each other? What will we look like? Will we be able to distinguish one individual from the other?

We will have heavenly bodies. And we will know others that you have known on earth and they will know you. I've heard that our bodies will be like 30 years old. Not exactly sure where that came from.

I had never thought about an after life in terms of spirits without bodies until I read a short story by H.G. Wells (wish I could remember the name!) The spirits just floated around (and seemed miserable) but could not communicate with each other or those still alive. The only way was through a medium. They would all gather to try and get their message through, and the medium often got random bits of several spirits messages. They all looked the same and had no extremeties.

Of course, I don't think that is going to happen (I sure hope it isn't anyways)....but I love his stories.

When the men tried to trick Jesus asking Him about a widow who was married 7 times and each husband was already dead, they asked who's wife will she be in heaven. Jesus replied, we will neither marry nor be given in marriage. He also said, in heaven we will be known as we are known.

In other words, you will know your brother, sister, etc. At the Resurrection, the Bible says we will be translated: Changed from our imperfect earthly bodies to our new heavenly bodies. This means we will still look the same but our bodies will no longer be sick, grow old.

Mindless orbs bouncing off of each other like ping pong balls? I guess for some if that's their idea of heaven. It is said that there are many rooms and mansions.I guess that would be the ball room for those who liked that at McDonald's play land. Perhaps there is another heaven with some 72 year old Muslim woman to greet them also.

The Bible states we will be resurrected bodily and experience an immediate physical change. These corrupted bodies of ours will be replaced by glorified bodies. We will be restored to the way God intended, to the perfect bodies Adam and Eve had before their disobedience brought sin and death into the world.

When Jesus was raised from the dead God raised Him bodily. Jesus then appeared to His followers. They thought He was a spirit. He said (paraphrasing) "Come, touch me. Put your finger in the holes in my hands. Put your hand in the wound in my side. Does a spirit have flesh and bone as I have?" Then Jesus ate in their presence.

"Yes" is the answer to all your questions. I hope to see you there!

Like all Gold ornaments r Gold only. Ornaments may differ in shape but its all only Gold.

the ability to touch and feel one another is one of those human desires that makes heaven seem just about impossible
think about it
all our greetings involve touch, hugs, kisses,.........etc
heh
and it just feels good to be in physical contact with one another

if there is a heaven of pure bliss and peace, we will need physical bodies, or else our humanity will have to be horribly altered

We'll have new bodies. I don't have a clue what they'll be like, except that they'll be perfect.
