I'm 19 and I'm a freshman at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. I get told by some of my female friends that the uniform is a great thing to use to pick girls up. In my case, as a freshman, I have to wear my uniform anytime that I leave the campus. I find a lot of girls are just checking out the uniform and not the man in it. I'm 19 and I'm still a virgin and I'm not that good at making the first move. I'm like 6'2 160, nice smile, dark hair, dark eyes, darker skin. If I don't start making some moves, will Ms. Right ever come along, or do I have to start being more aggresive, which is probably not in my nature? Also, I'm a good dancer and a good runner, I know these will score points. Any tips on what to do to help girls see me in a better light so perhaps they will recognize the good qualities instead of just the cool looking uniform? Thank you, all answers are appreciated.

Please continue to be the gentleman that you are. Making the first move, for asking for a date? Just meet and get to know a few gals, and then ask at least one of them to go out with you sometime. Go dancing, since you like to dance. I have dated guys in uniform-they turn out to be gentlemen. And hopefully, not wanting to "expect more". You are 19, you have lots of time to find "Ms. Right". She is out there. Just please be careful of the ones who always want you to buy things for them, etc. the "gold diggers", and the ones who can cheat on you. You want the girls to like you for who you are, the right one will get to know you as you get to know her. It takes time. Friendship is vital, when wanting to "date" someone. And good, honest, open communication. I wish you the best. Take care.

men in uniform really make good impressions on girls no doubt about it. but i guess, if u really want a girl to sees what lies beneath that uniform, you should just be yourself. in no time at all im sure youll make an impression

dude, just use the uniform as bait, once they meet u, they'll be sure to love you. damn, why are all the hot 1s in the army?
