Go to the hospital! It sounds like you have an infection, and considering you just had MAJOR surgery, don't you think it would be wise, if you have that high of a fever?

Those are signs of infection. You should go to the ER immediately. You were on pain pills for less than a week, not enough time to be addicted. Percocet is a pain killer, a narcotic. I am not sure what Flexeral is but Flexeril is a muscle relaxer that is very common and not addictive. My husband fell on the ice before and took that with no problems. You really should go to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital. A fever of 103.2 is considered very high. Check your post op paperwork and I am sure that you will see that it has listed on there signs of an infection. You should also call the OBGYN on your way and let him know. Good luck and I hope that you are well and able to enjoy your little baby soon.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

If i were you i would go to the hospital. I have had 3 C-Sections i never had problems like that, with my last baby they discharge me from the hospital without medication, it was a weekend i had to wait till monday to call my doctor, and she gave me tynenlo with codine. but u might want to go to the hospital because that was one of the things the nurse tells u when u are discharge, bleeding, fever, etc...go to the hospital which i beleive its not normal!!!

I think you would have to be taking a long time to get withdrawals.
Call your hospital ER and ask for the trauma nurse or call your doctor.
A fever is not a good sign. I would think maybe infection, so don't wait it out. Ask
Even if it is a cold, you don't want to complicate your recovery.

Definately go to the hospital right away! Not normal! Pack a bag to take with you, just in case they keep you. Wow, good luck! Hope your feeling better soon!

Call your doctor. With that fever, something is very wrong. Let him advise you whether to go to the hospital or not.

If you haven't already, go to the hospital or call 911!! As said by the other posters, it is highly possible it is an infection. Please let us know what happens! Feel better!
