last night i rear-ended someone (my fault). it was one of those "low speed/no damage" that happened, but the guy decided to just let it go. no any form of information exchanged as if nothing happened. my question is did i do the right thing, or should i be worried????

I'd say no harm, no foul. You didn't flee the scene, the guy told you let it go, don't worry about it. If there was no damage, he doesn't have to pay any money to fix anything; therefore he wouldn't need your insurance info.

If information was not exchanged, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. If there is damage to your car and you decide turn it in to your insurance carrier, they will raise your insurance rates because it's considered a fault loss. Let it go.

Done that a few times. I've even let someone else go a few times. If there's no info exchange, there's nothing to worry about. What damage is that other guy going to file, if you don't see any? (Unless it's dark and all that)

Don't worry. Fender Benders happen all the time. As long as no information was exchanged or reports filed you should be alright.

You are at fault and he choose not to take info, not to make a police report nor inform his insurance. He let you off...why question it? He can't come after you or nothing....for to do so...a police report must be made. Without one...nothing happened.

i think a similar way as I do as quickly as I see the previous McCain/Palin or Bush stickers: cheesy.... marketing campaign is over, election is over... flow on. apart from... confident... an amazing majority of electorate got here out from the woodwork and awakened to the call for their own desires. confident... maximum human beings of the country is the reason you're able to handle a liberal time table. or maybe its that the conservative management screwed the pooch so undesirable that the alternative regarded extra ideal.

no he said there was no damage i wouldn't worry about it, unless of course the police surround you home and u see the swat team on the neighbors roof lol , i believe you are fine don't worry he probably didn't have insurance himself and just wanted to get out of there.

I don't think you need to be worried. We have had those kinds of things happen to us before and we meant it when we decided to let it go. Not everyone is sue happy.

If no information is exchanged there can be no negative consequences because he doesn't know who you are, your name, where you live, or what insurance you have.

Why worry?
