When we're camping our whole family eats like a bunch of hogs together! I have to keep reminding them not to wipe their hands on the other person's shirt. And the food fights! I don't mean throwin', I mean fightin' for the food! The dogs don't have a chance with this pack of hyenas, they lick their plates, then lick their forks clean. I have just begged the children not to lick the knives clean, tongue cuts, but they just can't seem to help themselves. For about an hour after a meal, they sit around and burp, sounds like a congested rhinoceros. Honestly, I'm thankful for the river so I can have a place to clean them up!

Not that bad, it's just as easy not to slurp and wiping my mouth on my sleeve would mean I'd have to do laundry more often, 'cause I do intend to go out around people some time you know :P Other things too, if I spilled food or even crumbs I'm the one who is going to have to clean it up later, since I'm not seated around a campfire and I don't have a mom or husband who'll do the house cleaning either!
But I do often eat laying down on my bed with a book in my hand, and I also lick my plate. These things don't make a mess but they would be considered bad manners if anyone else was present!

Plate? Well Mr. Fancypants, when I'm alone I just throw the food on the floor. That way I can feed the dog at the same time.

Sad to say, I usually do. However, when I get together with Marshal Matt Dillon⥠I mind my manners....well, not ALL of them.....I'm still trying to woo him away from Miss Kitty.

Sorry folks, I was raised to have good table manners and I act properly whether I have an audience or not.

On occasion yes, but for the most part, I can not have really bad manners because it offends my two lab mixes.
I can't do that!

Yes, I do. It's fun. No harm in it. I'm not too sure about wiping my mouth on my sleeve, though.
