My situation is that I attend a public high school. I asked a girl if she would go out with me and she said no. She said no because she had a friend(s) who liked me and she couldn't do that to them. I know her friends pretty well and they say if some of her other friends didn't like me she would have said yes. Also currently she has a boyfriend. And normally when I get regected I am able to move on with in a couple of months. But this is not the case. People keep urging me to move on and that I can do better. I don't know, my mind is pretty set on her. Last detail her boy friend is a year older, so he will graduate a year before she does. I don't know what to do. Or how to move on. Any ideas?

It would be more beneficial to do things to improve your life. Find something of interest discover yourself. You probably have girl interested in you and your missing out on them. Find someone that wants you. This will be much more rewarding. You are not the only one that has been turned down by someone. Someone else has been rejected and may need you to ask them to be friends. I guess I have just always been a practical person but I have never thought twice if someone didn't want me. I looked else where life is to short to do it any other way.

Sorry to say that you should listen to your friends and move on. She is in a relationship and she has already told you no. It's pretty clear. If she wanted to be with you, she would. You are in high school, you don't need to settle down right now. Check out someone else, don't close doors just because you still like someone else you may miss someone great.
