Roxio Easy CD and DVD burner help?

I bought this program, loaded it, ran it...it seemed ok, but, I can't use any video files when making a dvd. Why? AVI is circled out, and MPEG, so, what does it support? And where can I buy drivers so it supports AVI? Or does it and Im doing something wrong?

to make a dvd with roxio, you must convert the files to dvd format. Do this with the avi to dvd program in roxio.
