I asked this question earlier but didn't specify to much and got skewed answers. It is weird for a guy (me) to sit next to some girl sitting by herself at the college cafeteria? Sometimes as I go to or come back from class I'll stop and eat. Since I'm by myself and see other gals by themselves I always tell myself I should sit next to them. The point wouldn't be to hit on them, just meet them. Is that creepy? Not creepy?

p.s. If it makes any difference I don't have the appearance of a stalker and would consider myself to be above average looking.

the girls would like to eat by themselves and you should respect that. unless the cafeteria is really full and the only space available would be near a girl then it is fine to do that. otherwise, better stay away.

I think it not wierd at all. A seat is a seat. A while back I had a total of five seeking me out every Monday and Wednesday!
That was on my two year campus. At four year and beyond things were even more open. It was just as common for a male to sit down by a female as a female to sit by a male.

Mintee pretty well said it. Only a paranoid would be upset. After all, it is a public place for ALL students.

out of experience in my own college days (oh how long ago).. anyways.. there were times I ate alone, due to my roommates or friends had a different time table than myself.. and yes, there was always the odd dude who just sat down.. They usually asked first and I didnt mind.. I enjoyed the company and the conversation.. sometimes there were jerks, but for the most part, just friendly people who wanted a companion during lunch.. it was fine by me. but I cant speak for anyone else.. also my experiences were of about 10years ago.. I dont know how college life is now.. but id say, ask persmission first, some girls get weirded out by strangers..

In public, or perhaps at residing house you should study silverware. maximum eating places use intense warmth dryers to dry dishes and silverware, so in result regardless of that became became likely "cooked" in a dryer. yet even air drying would render foodstuff harmless usually. Being "crusty" is extra appropriate than it being tender. people can deal with a recommendations more suitable than we provide ourselves credit for. in case you've been going to be ill, it would have got here about interior some hours. provide up irritating.

Any gentleman would ask permission from the lady before sitting. Maybe she wants to be alone for a while, and you would be intruding.

I think if you don't talk to them at all or are consumed with doing homework she might not be offended. I think it's a nice thing to do. I would welcome you because I often sit alone. But some girls may be wary of your intentions.
