No, God doesn't need rainbows. He created them much as we wear wedding rings. I don't need a ring to remember that I'm married, but I sure enjoy looking at it!

No no! you have it the option way. God placed it there for people to recollect. that's we who want the reminder! sure, every time I see a rainbow, i think of concerning the promise. A rainbow to me is a tremendous massive smile from God. the various maximum sacred moments of my existence between God and that i've got took place whilst there has been a rainbow.

the rainbow is a seen promise he made. he does not need to be reminded, but when a rainbow appears he knows why it is there and so will we. I think it reminds us as people. not many people know why the rainbow was made.. thanks for opening the door to that one!

Look around. Wouldn't you need a constant reminder not to destroy it?

God doesn't forget, he doesn't use it to remind himself as much as a symbol to remind man of his promise....

the writers are probably forgetful at their age already and are projecting themselves into the literature they were writing.
