Just wondering how many people on here actually have friends with benefits?

It's something that I have never really discussed with friends of mine so I'm just curious as to how common it is.

Thanks in advance for answering

Mine is with a friend who I have been really close mates with for about 5 years- because we are such good friends we find the situation ok- we are physically attracted to each other, but it is just sex, our personalities are too similar for any other form of relationship. We often go out clubbing and stuff with our other friends and do hang out without hooking up but because there is no commitment to each other it is a nice little arrangement to have have :)

It's fairly common with my friends. But I've never done it. I've thought about it. But I don't think it's good for you emotionally. I could never detach from myself like that. It's not worth it.

Depends on the situation and what you are looking for at that time. I've done the whole benefits thing and it worked out because we both just wanted seX from each other and nothing more. I mean it didn't last long and it was fun at the time. We only had a connection in the bedroom..outside..zippo connection. Just remember to be cautious because if you are even remotely into him being your bf then the whole "friends with benefits" does not work. He only sees you as a "booty call." If you just want him for his body then go for it. As long as you don't get too attatched and you just want to "have fun." To each their own.

Sounds like a nice arrangement. Keep things the way they are. I had a situation like this once. Physical relationships can last way longer than emotional ones. Your perception of beauty doesn't change as much as your perception of a personality.

I don't but i have a few close friends that do or have had friends with benefits. It's kinda common. The thing is, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. How long will you stay friends after it goes down?? Feelings....
