Do you think any of Dany Heatley's team members will ever get in a car with him behind the wheel? You know, since he has been known to kill people?

No joke here Johnny D. Just a question. You appearently didn't read it.

Good point Dig Em, but unlike Henrik, Heatley was actually charged with Vehicular Homicide (sp.), Henrik's charges never proven. Heatley only had to do 3 years probation for, pretty much bullsh!t.

I wouldn't. Personally I don't see this as trying to be a joke either. I mean seriously though if you got in a car and he was driving in the back of your mind wouldn't you be thinking about that? Would you trust him behind the wheel? I wouldn't.

So you don't think he's a murderer, yet you felt the need to post a question asking whether or not he is? I won't even try to explain that. For the record...this case is over and done and has been done for several years. Just because some people have formed a group of fellow idiots online supporting this baseless idea does not make it right. There's probably a flat-earth society online as well...are we going to have that debate as well? The story of Dany Heatley (and the tragic death of Dan Snyder) has been told and retold beyond any practical purpose. The facts are known. The Snyder family has shown tremendous forgiveness to Mr Heatley, who in turn, has demonstrated tremendous remorse and guilt over the incident. He was NOT drunk (this is per the state of Georgia, who was the authority on the matter). Repeat that as often as you like. Your statement that Mr Heatley was drunk is a lie. You can, and should, be brought up on charges of libel for making such a statement.

It was a tough lesson for a young kid to learn, but I have listened to Heatley and Dan Synder's family, and I think (and hope) that a lesson has been learned, albeit at great expense.

I'm neither a Senator nor a Sabre fan. I can see that both teams have great team chemistry and some of the best young talent in the NHL. An incident like Neal's dirty hit (it was a late hit with the intent to get the elbow involved even more than it was) and last night's brawl brings out a lot of strong feelings amongst fans and players (and coaches obviously). But Sabre Fan, you shouldn't let it drag you down to classless questions like the one above!

I hope that if any tragedy ever happens to you that the people around you have more class and dignity than you do. The first question itself is not totally offensive but the second question is totally tastless. Before you run people down be correct in what you say. The word people is plural. There was only one person in the car with Danny. I hope that Dany Snyder's parents don't ever see your senseless question because that would cause undue pain. You really should be ashamed of yourself and grow up. If you want to diss another team or an athlete it can be done without getting personal and crude.

I don't know.

Do you think the other Sabres players trust Henrik Tallinder around their wives, girlfriends, sisters and daughters? You know since he's been known to rape women?

Sweden won't let him play on it's National team as a result of rape allegations. A charge he was only able to beat on a technicality. Even though he was caught him on a surveillance camera.

Perfect fit for your team though. Check it for yourself at.

I agree with John D. Even if you are a Senator hater, it is not in good taste to joke about a young man's death! It was a tragic accident no matter if it was a professional athlete or not. One day you may wise up and have a relationship that may produce an offspring. Then you will understand that any loss is a grave loss.

A legitimate question. I wonder too. But the last question/comment saying "he has been know to kill people" was a cheap shot. Admit it, that is exactly what you were trying to do was piss off the Ottawa fans right? Congrats, I think you did.

Maybe they would, so they could drive. Friends don't let friends drive drunk. What happened to Dan and his friend happens to thousands; he just happened to be famous. When people talk about this issue they are very serious.

Good question ... did it take the other nights hockey game for you to figure this out ? With all of Buffalo's players out due to injury, there should be lots of time for driving, right after the first round of the playoffs.
