And isn't that what makes organized religion a joke?
"I'm right".
"No, I'm right".
"No, it's me who is right."
And yet they're all preaching God's love and universal harmony!!

Religions are based on the non questioning faith of the followers. If you really had a group of people with individualistic interpretations of the texts provided you would end up with a confused and segregated religion. Many religions exist so that you can choose the one that you agree with or choose non at all so in a way we do have the ability to question the facts. As for trying to convince another that the path we choose is the right one, it's just human nature which makes us that way.

Some people try to get you to believe what they do to help you (they want to keep you from going to hell or some other bad place)
Some people try to get you to believe what they do to control you (like the roman Catholicism days, you couldn't read the Bible, only the priest could so they could translate it for you, and make you think whatever they wanted
Some people try to get you to believe what they do to convince you that there right
Some people are just obnoxious
some people care some people don't
i think everyone has at least at one time shared something they believe. whether it's religion, homosexuality, politics, etc.
I guess you could say that i care what people have to say. I'm interested in what other people believe. And i want people to listen to me when i want to share my views, so i listen to them when they share there views. what bugs me is when they talk all they want but don't let you get a word in at all.

It is human nature to at least state ones view when asked or put into a spot that requires one to say or let others assume we believe something we don't.
Then there are those who are always 'right' and must demand you agree.
I care what others believe, say, do, think, but unless it is hurting someone -other than his self- I agree.
God doesn't need me to save someone. I couldn't if I tried. But I cannot set quietly and allow others to bash something I care very much about.

Looking at some of your answers, it seems to me that when people realise they're not going to convince you to "believe", they resort to being obnoxious and condescending because they obviously "know" they're right and you're wrong! Such arrogance...

No. Youre just about wrong on everything, in my opinion. But you believe what you want. I have no interest in making you see my point of view at the moment

The only reason for that is no one here is going to save us so I guess Jesus is the only answer to the question.
