Most of the times guys that I don't like seem to be the most persistent. A guy came up to me and kept asking me for my number. I told him I was taken and he kept on asking about my boyfriend and if we could at least be friends. Is he slow or somethin? Also, guys that I'm not interested in can't read the signs that I give out which means that I'm not interested. For instance, not calling them a lot, not giving them compliments when they give me one, and or even trying to avoid them by rushing to go somewhere or keeping the conversation short. I could tell when a guy is into me, but why can't some of them tell that I'm not into them?

Also, the ones I do give my number to are ones that go to my school. So i think that we're gonna be friends when later on they change and start hittin on me. That's why I have a hard time being friends with guys.

Guys are very insecure. They can't handle rejection anymore than women can. But it hurts their ego if we turn them down. So some will be persistent because they want to make sure it's not really them you are turning down. It must be some other reason in their minds. Some will call your names or belittle you because they can't handle the rejection. They need to learn to take the hint.

Well guys don't get it all the time. But you can't give out your number to someone that you aren't into it sends mixed messages. If you are not into them just let them now upfront and it will cut down on a lot of confusion.

I apologize to you for all of us ignorant men in the world. Sometimes we like you so much that we don't realize that you're trying (sometimes quite desperately) to put us off. Really the only way to dissaude that type of person is to not try to discourage them, but make them forget about you. Try avoiding him, as discreetly as you can for month or two. He'll stop thinking about you all the time, and realize what was going on.

Not all guys are like that... some just don't know how to read signals, some think that if they are around you enough you will learn to like them.. Whatever... Just make sure that you aren't flirting with them when you do talk to them.
