i want to dye my hair and cut my tips but i was wondering which one i should do first or does it not really matter?

dye it first , than give it a trim. actually it doesnt give any difference. but everyone likes different ways. it's ones preferrence.

usually in salons.. hair is trimmed first then chemically treated..water does not affect the dye as it is washed off anyway after processing.. it doesnt really make a difference but it is always better to cut first.. so the colour can be placed accordingly..

no it doesnt matter. i would suggest getting your tips done then dying. if you dye before cut the dye could come out beacause they spay water on your hair before they cut it. so cut then dye!!

in the salon that i go, they dye first and then cut, but i dont think it matters

im a stylist....we color the hair, then cut the ends. That way you cut off any damage the color may have done to your hair
