greetings...well I'm not a girl but would like to answer anyway. there's an old saying..."never poop in your own backyard"..in other words dating within the family circle can have it's problems. it's kind of like dating a co-worker. if the relationship fails you still have to work with that person everyday. this can be very uncomfortable, and create unwanted tension in the work place. same rule applies with family. dating a siblings friend is risky. despite the outcome, your still related to your sibling. my sister had a crush on a close friend of mine. she asked me how i would feel about her going out with him. i simply said, keep me out of it. don't come to me a week from now and complain. don't ask me to get involved. after she made her move, my friend came to me and asked what i thought. i gave him the same speech. two weeks later, they both hated each other and somehow i wound up in the middle and bad guy for not taking a side. good luck

I don't date guys because i am not gay but your question just reminds me of how much people read way too much into relationships and dating. Date who ever you want and if your brother doesn't like it then f*** him. Its your life and you only get one shot at it, so have as much fun as possible.

If i had a brother and his friend was hot and if we liked one another yer i would but only if my brother didnt mind and that if you were to ever break up that it didnt ruin their friendship.
