I'm going on a date tommorrow with a girl I barely know. It is our first date. I think she lives with her parents, but when I roll up to the house should I get out of my car to ring the door bell or call her when I'm in her drive way to let her know I'm here?

Ring the doorbell! Calling her on her cell will make her parents suspicous and seem unclassy. Besides, girls like to be picked up at the door!

show some class and get out of the car a ring the door bell. So what if she lives with parents, be a gentleman, show her some class, and introduce yourself. If she lived with a roomrate, would you introduce yourself to them?

It's your first date with her-and she lives with her parents. Okay--you better believe that her parents-especially her dad-is going to WANT and EXPECT to meet you, first thing. So yes, please be a gentleman, do the right thing, and go up to the door and ring the doorbell. Go in, introduce yourself to her parents. The cell phone thing is so tatally crass! If you did that, and I was her mother, I would not allow her to step one foot out that door. I would expect you to do the correct thing.

Be a gentleman and ring the doorbell. A small bouquet of flowers wouldn't hurt either. Nothing fancy, just something simple.

I'd say call her, then when she hangs up, then you get out of the car and act like a gentlemen and open the car door and place her inside and then close the door and get to your date. = ) Good Luck = )
