Will an unpaid traffic ticket issued in california show on my tx driving record even though it is not paid, and if so will it be there longer than the three yrs most tickets show?

Not only will the unpaid ticket show up, but it is very likely that California will suspend your driver's license due to the unpaid ticket, and that will result in your license being suspended in Texas as well. I'd take care of this ASAP.

I have seen Mass try and collect them for tickets that were a decade old!

My state can suspend your license when another state says you have unpaid tickets!

Many states now have a reciprocal agreement to share outstanding traffic tickets and traffic offense info.

Yes it will show up here I know ,I lived in Calif.for 9 months and my husband got a ticket while we were there,we came back to tx.and before my husband could get his license back here he had to send the money back to Calif.
