Knowledge of fear and love is a primary motivation, so I will not fall into the denigrating pleadings and narcissism as the majority of Christians.

"the terror of the Lord driveth out sin." (Ecclesiasticus a million:27; Douay-Rheims version) "For the terror of the Lord is awareness and discipline." (verse 34) "Riches and potential advance up the middle: yet above those is the terror of the Lord" (Ecclesiasticus 40:26) "there's no awareness, there's no prudence, there's no counsel against the Lord." (Proverbs 21:30) and then there is the greater nicely standard verse that I continually have a tough time looking, that announces something to the effect of "the terror of God is the commencing up of awareness". That commencing up of that verse is the substantial to all of it: "the terror of God". there are a number of greater verses that say an identical element, the two previous testomony and New testomony. God Bless you.
