i've had the munchies all day and can't stop eating. i feel hungry but i know my stomach is full...what can i do? i don't want anything else goin into my stomach, so i won't "munch on somethin healthy"

i don't think you understand...my stomach is full, but i'm still hungry. and i'm not trying to lose weight.

stop smoking pot. or just wait for a half hour or so because it takes a while for the messages in your stomach to reach your brain, so just wait a while

I dont know what causes it but my son and I get it sometimes. He'll say mom, I just ate but I cant quit eating! LOL Usually, stress makes me want to eat eat eat. I am an emotional eater as well but I think the eat eat eat thing is when Im stressed and waiting to solve the problem. Like a test or something. I cant make the time go faster I have to wait it out, and thats how I chose to do it.
If you do cave in eat fruit, healthy cereals, like fiber or something. (dont eat too much of a fiber cereal!) Nibble on sunflower seeds. Anything that keeps your hand and mouth going but isnt causing a huge amount of caloric intake. People have already said this but drink water. And try a good book or a sweet movie. maybe yours is stress to and those will help calm you down. Good luck!

Hey, I'm right with you, can't stop since a few days...all I wanna do is eat...and you know, you don't feel 'hungry', you feel 'eaty'??? Just want to eat...I know, my time of the month is coming: one reason. I'm trying to smoke less: another reason. Stress at work: another reason...I've noticed the best to do, when you get the munchies, is to really eat what you are craving for. If you don't, you'll end up eating a whole bunch of stuff, and stillllll eat what you initially wanted...I think that might be one reason why some of us have such a hard time being overweight and getting it off. Eat what you want when you need to, just remember, ALL (eating, drinking, love, life) needs to be in moderation, and then you are good!

Many people drink plain water to fill their stomach all the time so that they don't feel like munching anything. Some fill their belly with salad (with low fat or fat free dressing) to avoid munchies. And others eat fruits (dried or fresh). That way you you can keep yourself healthy and help to lose weight. Are you eating because you're bored? If so, you are an emotional eater (I have the same problem). You have to find something to keep your mind off of it. Try doing a puzzle of some kind or a hard game.

Drink lots of liquid especially 0 calories drink and WATER!!! Then just sleep and read some magazines.. Do something else that will keep you away from the refridgerator..

Ive had this happen before. Drink A LOT of WATER!!! This will fill you but its just water so its not food. Even try like no carb or no calorie flavored water for a little taste.

Drink water. I have no idea why they say drink water when you're hungry in the middle of the night or right after you already ate, drink water....but it works!

calm down and drink some water, dont eat for about 30 minutes and youll fell fuller and slow down when you eat future meals to avoid this problem

.. umm physical activity helps a lot and its "healthy"

if you want to stop eating then its a mental choice you have to make
get out and do something get your mind off the food
