how do i get my short hair to look good in a pony tail?

ok so i just got my hair cut a little above shoulder length and it seems like the only thing that i can do with it is ware it down and when i try to put it in a pony tail for sports and stuff it looks like crap ughh help!!! p.s. bobby pins arent seeming to help the situation

i have short hair to the thing u should put is aloe vera gel get it at a health store. it holds down frizz and make a sleek shiny ponytail and it helps

well, I would say that either let it grow, or forget about the pony tail and just pull it back from your face. if bobby pins aren't working try some of those clippies that are silver and are old fashioned for setting hair. Don't know what they are called, but they hold hair better than bobby pins.

Yea, I been through it too. I had mine in layers so it looked liek super-crap when I attempted a ponytail. I ended up having to use a whole lot of gel, more than average because after a couple hrs ends start sprouting up. And make sure it's very tight to try and get as much as possible tied up as you can. That's all I can say. Nothing works.

I have really short hair to and what i do is i put it up and then let a little down at the bottom and part ur bangs to the side, also it looks cute if u take a couple pieces 4m the sides aand curl em

It is not too bad, just tied top half really high, and leave bottom down there, you will look cute that way, make it a bit messy, no worries.

i think that short hair looks better in a ponytail than long hair im suree it looks cutee u just want long hair

i think just letting the loose hair fall out of your ponytail is cute.
it seems like thats what everyone else is doing too...

just pull your hair back and leave the hair that falls alone..
it works for me...
