The Bible says that EVERYONE has sinned. and it does not say that being good gets you into heaven. Infact it says that no one is good but God. The way to get to heaven is to repent of your sins, that is to confess and forsake them, and put our faith and trust in Christ alone.

It is an incorrect question. The Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. This includes both Christians and non Christians. No where in the Bible does it say that good living people Christian or not will go to heaven. It is only by redemption of blood that we are saved. Only by Jesus sacrifice can we be saved no matter how good you live.

The Bible says "ALL have sinned and fall short of the GLORY of God"
We can be forgiven and go to Heaven only because Jesus came and died on the cross for our sins. If He had not done that for us, we wouldn't be worthy. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life.....no one else has or can do that. It is by His blood that we are cleansed

It doesn't say all Christians have sinned, it says ALL = meaning all people= have sinned. The purpose is to show our need for Jesus because we can't live up to God's standard of holiness. Jesus died to take the punishment we deserve because of our sin. Ever tell a lie? Ever swipe candy or anything else as a kid? Ever lie to your parents or friends or teacher? Then You've sinned and disqualified yourself from hanging out in heaven with a God so holy he can't look at us in our sin.
But he can look at the forgiven us. Going to heaven has nothing to with being good. It has everything to with giving our life to Jesus.

The only reason they are forgiven is becuase Jesus was the ulimate sacrifice, without him dying man would never be forgiven, he shed his blood for you and your sins. That is why he died because he loves you. And btw it never says in the Bible that you will get into heaven by good works alone. You need to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, that is the only way into heaven.

Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (payment) for sin,so a sacrifice had to be given.(jesus).....The bible says All have sinned, not just Christians, and come short of the glory of God.IF it was possible to work your way to heaven by being good, then Jesus need not have died.

Jesus died to save the world of it's sins. Every person falls short of the kingdom of God, but through Jesus, we don't. Everyone has sinned, everyone needs forgiveness. Jesus was pure, perfect, and the only sacrifice. For God so loved the earth, that he sacrificed his one and only Son, that whoever would believe in Him, wouldn't be sent to hell, but remain forever with God in heaven for eternity. -John 3:16

JESUS died so our sin debt would be paid and we could enter heaven; one must ask forgiveness, believe Jesus died and arose, ascended to Heaven and have the faith to live a Christian life. Just being good will not land you in Heaven. JESUS is the only intercessor between GOD and us; our best is nothing but filthy rags before GOD.

Jesus died and took all of man's sins on himself. When we sin, we can ask and receive forgiveness from God because Jesus died so this can happen. Think of it as your parents taking on or protecting you from something real bad. If you ask for forgiveness, they will give it to you, but there will be a consequence for your actions, but at the same time, you will be safe. We should all live the best to our ability, and only God knows if we are true to this. He knows if we are really sorry for our sins, so you can't fool Him. We have to be honest and sincere.

People can't be forgiven unless they recognize Jesus sacrifice as the payment required for God to forgive. He paid the price so that you could be free of all the charges made against you.
