I say the f-word much more in comparison to the s-word. (Though "damnit" is, by far, the winner for me.)
I would have to say women. The f-word, because of the sound of it, just has the ability to come off in a better way than the s-word.

I would say if you had a man and woman of the same morality, same age, and same experience - a woman would use that particular word more. A man would probably choose some other vulgarity for (be it purposeful or not) sounding more masculine. The f- word also rolls off the tongue easier than others, like the s- word, making it sound (ignoring the obscenity) more elegant or sophisticated when you say it, over other curse words, which women are more in tune with.

My male friends say it more than my female ones. Personally, I think it's still seen as a little "unladylike" -- a little too harsh of a curse word. Maybe that's my imagination though.
Coincidentally, I was told when I was little that if you said it three times in a row, you would go straight to hell. Ah, the stories little kids tell each other.

I have noticed in real life, females using f-word just like bunch of truck drivers.( Positively shocking !)
I'd say, women use it less then men,but they do. Big time !
