On my MP3 player the Duracell lasted 18.2 hrs..the Energizer lasted 18.6 hours and these were AAA batteries. So the Energizer won out in my case.

Duracell yes, Energizer no. Infact, I use Raovac batts in a small flash light with a LED light as well, that uses 3 watch like batteries. The Rayovacs outlast the Energizers about 8 to 1. They are even cheaper and come in a 4 pack for less than the Energizer 3 pack. They are the same 350 spec, but the Ravoacs have about half again the MaHr rating. The brand of charger does not determine what batteries it will charge. It is better to use a so called smart charger (for any batteries) so as to prevent over charging and shortening the life of the cells as once they are at full charge any extra current just turns in to heat.

energizers tend to supply smaller amounts of power for longer as to where Duracell tends to supply more power for less time
basically your flashlight will be brighter with a Duracell but last longer with an energizer

Normally i use rechargeable batteries.the other day i forgot to take them with me so bought Energizer batteries. it said it lasts upto 250 pics but mine ran out just for 50 !
after buying it i took only 20-40 pics and did not use it for 2 days. when i want to use it after 2days i could not take more than 4 or 5 pics.

It depends on what you're using it for. A flashlight or remote control doesn't use up a battery as fast as a camera or cd player.
If you're using a digital camera, you should invest in rechargable batteries...the initial cost is high, but you save money in the long run.
