If you come to the conclusion that god doesn't exist based on logic and not a desire to sin or out of spite against god, i don't see how he would blame you for it if he is fair.

The scientific method you asked about requires an experiment with controls. It requires you to test a hypothesis.

Can you do this with God? It's faith, not science. If he doesn't exist how can he 'blame you for it?"

randy: You have a good point. As a Christian, I would agree with you. Why would God punish anyone for not believing in him, had He not revealed Himself to him or her? God is just ! Another way of looking at it is this. If logic and the Scientific methodology would reveal His [God's] existence to His human creation then, the need for Devine revelation would not be necessary. If this were the case, people would "know" God. Obviously then, people do not "know" God and the Scientific method and association through relation [logic] is not the way to go. The Bible tells us, that God draws those, who He chooses, to have a relationship with Him or, in other words, God is not trying to convert everyone now, in this life. It is the assumption of some religious groups, who think that God is trying to "save" the whole world now, in this life, that is in error. There is a lot of bad theology out there and dysfuntional religion too. This is the cause for a lot of the confusion in the theology field. Believe it or not, once God is drawing a person to Him, he or she begins to see things from a different dimension. This dimension is foreign to the "uncalled"; therefore, the concept of God seems like a myth to them. When one is drawn to God, God cuts through the non-facts, prejudices and presuppositions within Science, and reveals the reality of Himself, all the more. For example; when you take the element Uranium, ( U ), as you know has a point ( called a "half-life" ), where it begins to decay or break down. When Uranium decays, it breaks down into the element Lead (Pb). This period of decay requires about 5 to 6 thousand years, approximently, according to physics. Science can prove that the earth is multi -millions of years old. Since the age of this orb is millions of years old, why is it then, that ALL the Uranium on this earth has not broken down ( decayed ) into Lead (Pb) by now ? It appears, that there had to be a Creator to start the "ball" rolling somewhere along the line - right ? This is one of many examples of where the concept of God becomes very relevant to the lives of Christians. The truth is this. Eventually, all humans ever born will have their own time and turn to be drawn or "called" to have a relationship with his or her Creator. This will occur either, in this life or when Jesus Christ returns to this earth. The good news is this. All of us WIN in the end !!!

If I refuse to believe you exist (maybe your computer generated).
Maybe R&S has people claiming to be real but they answer and ask with many avatars. Are they only making you up?I have no proof of your existance.
What science has proven Jesus wasn't God in the flesh. That God didn't create everything. What logic is there that something appeared from nothing exploded, and formed billions of galaxies that follow a certain path (clusters).
Life still can't be made (not even an amoeba).Computers are no comparison to what a virus can do.
Please think of the brilliance it takes for you to come up with even
the simplist idea.

I can't argue with you, but I believe scientific method would not be applicable here, and logic would lead you to belief that God exists. If you have any doubts, you have to keep searching for the truth.

you may discover it to be straightforward. Do you think of others formerly you haven't any longer subjected the e book to the scrutiny you point out. each and each time the Bible has been shown real. traditionally, scientifically and just about. in case you may seem at it interior the impartial trend you fee, you may see the actuality of that.

So I've learned in church, God is a jealous God. He wants no competition for you beliefs and faiths.

However, I feel differently.

I feel that if there is a factual scientific answer, then it is correct. Facts come before faith to me, because faith is something unsure, however, scientific facts, are indeed, facts.

It would be preferable if your scientific method and logic was through God. Many, many scientists do believe in God, and some practice religions.

I believe in evolution, but that it is all part of God's plan.

G-d?
Since when did God lose his 'o'? I know people believe you shouldn't use his name in vain... but that's not even his name... it's his title.
