I see so many questions concerning how do I lose weight. The answer isn't popping pills, starving yourself, exercising AND cutting back on food, taking laxatives, etc etc.

It's a simple solution. Motivation, exercise, eat, and know your body. You can eat 4 or 5 meals a day depending on your level of activity and the demands of your exercise program (also providing you have a decent metabolism) But, I wouldn't recommend eating at McDonalds for each meal. Eat those types of food with great moderation. You'll start to look and feel great.

I see all positives in that and yet people will still go ahead and do the things I mentioned above or worse yet, suggest it to other people.

Is it just ignorance? misinformation? lack of education? hoping to hear others will just say forget it, you'll never lose weight and just call the whole attempt off? What do you think or, if you are ones who chooses to lose weight the bad way, what is your way to lose weight and why do you do it that way?

A good, well balanced diet and daily exercise is the key.
Exercise alone may enable you to lose inches, but dieting and/or watching what kinds of foods you eat, will enable you to lose the weight.
Walking at a fast, swift pace, running, and using the treadmill are some of the best sources for losing weight. But eating an ice cream cone while doing these routines just won't cut it!

I think some of it has to do with depression. When I was severely depressed all I wanted to do it sit. Once in a while I would make an effort to try to lose weight, but depression is ugly. When I finally got a handle on my depression I started exercising more, eating better and lost weight. I think most "Laziness" is actually depression in a lot of people.

If you have a seperate room keep small useful exercise equipment Use those equipment while reading and listening songs

make it a point to use the steps whenever possible use the bathroom on a different floor at work take the stairs at the bus station the airport or the mall
