Ok i know im unexperienced in this situation but here it goes. Im 20 and my guy friend thing is 26 we have been unoffically dating to say i'm really falling for him and he has giving me signs he likes me to we are very open with each other we were good friends before this so i know he doesn' cheat or trying to get in my pants. He was really hurt by his last gf because she said they were going to fast but he tells me they are in the past and I believe him. He has told my a reason y he likes me, said i want this band at our wedding, and was asking about my parents. We hang out alot and are close mentally but when it comes to physically he doesn't even hug me or hold my hand..we have talked about kissing before and stuff but it seems like we are no where near to try. I really want to call him my bf and i think the phsyical stuff will take care of its self. How do I get him to flat out say he likes me or ask me out with out having to say it myself? Or does he not even really like me

why would you want a guy that isn't trying to get in your pants? do you think if anything did become of this mental dating, you would be satisfied with a guy with no libido. maybe on some level that seems respectful, but you better hope it's an act, you are really gonna want someone to give you a good pounding when it does become physical and mental boy may not be up to it, that aside, he has had a g/f before so the physical stuff should come natural. or maybe he was too forward with last g/f and he doesn't want to screw it up with someone he really likes. maybe he is waiting on a sign from you and he hasn't gotten it. everyone is different and we know not what goes on in his mind.

To me he just sounds like he wants to be friends at this time. He may still be to hurt by the last girl to want to get involved that deeply again. If you really like him give it a little more time. It sounds like he may have some feelings for you but you have more for him. Just give him the space to catch up a little.

Sounds like he may be a bit more shy than you realize. If you made the first move I'm sure you'd find out his feelings about you and your relationship.

that's tough... you should talk to him about tell him that you want to be with him and that you really like him. Maybe then he'll ask you or you could ask him yourself?
