If a person is truthfully seeking answers, isn't this a good thing to encounter?

Am I not playing nice?

It is a very good thing to encounter when people are seeking truth.

We should never shy away from the "invigorating questions", but rather always be ready to make a defense to everyone who asks for the hope that lies within us.

The struggle in this forum is that most are not seeking truthful answers. Among the true questions, there is much chaff of foolish taunts and sarcastic ridicule. Our engagement in these questions must follow Paul's advise to Timothy to "have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies" and be "kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting ... opponents with gentleness".

Of course. Imagine how boring life would be if there were no invigorating questions asked.

Youre only not "playing nice" if you ask stupid provocative questions meant to provoke knee-jerk reactions.

But asking questions with an honest desire for the answer and getting a little debate in the process, nothin wrong with that.

No, You are doing fine, it's the ones that does the answering that sort of makes look invigorating, or not play nice. Answering questions on religion can be difficult at times.

invigorating questions?
There is nothing wrong with asking questions that will inspire us and help give perspectives. The majority of questions I see are people trying to get a reaction by disrespecting the beliefs of others. It's not just R&S. It seems to be a major past time on Yahoo.

Shalom.

Invigorating, controversial, bringing out many opinions... I like what you're typing. Many would describe a good piece of art as doing the same thing!

Yes... you're playing nice.

The invigorating, controversial questions make for the most interesting reading and pondering in my opinion. I don't think there is anything wrong in asking these questions. If no one asked them - people wouldn't think.

You seem nice to me, friend. If you mean the backlash you got over that Wicca/ gravity question, well, get used to it. That's how they play it here. At least one person is in sympathy with you though. I hope to see more of your questions and your answers. God be with you. Frankly, I've come to believe that if I don't get some thumbs down on some issues, then I just wasn't answering correctly.

invigorating

adjective
imparting strength and vitality; "the invigorating mountain air"

There is nothing wrong with asking invigorating questions as everyone on here has a choice to keep going and bypass your question as they should if they take offense or they do not have an honest constructive answer.

Keep on!

No. It's absolutely a FABULOUS idea to convince people that they are worshipping Satan even when they say they aren't.

Keep asking those invigorating "questions" that are really thinly veiled attempts to convert people.
