Since if the US starts a war with Iran, a military draft would need to be put in place and george w bush does not want to jeopardize the republican party's chances of getting the next president to be republican, a war with Iran will not be initiated fully until either after the 2008 elections or maybe during the campaign, but without a draft for a few months. So at the earliest by September 2008.
Of course, this can only happen if the Iranian government continues to refuse preposterous American demands.
