True born of God Christians don't murder others. Why. Because Jesus told us to love God, love others, and forgive one another.
There is zero verses written where Jesus tells us to kill others.

some people get misguided notions that "god wants them to" do whatever. like for example the pope that told people in europe that they would get into heaven if they took part in crusade. though all that did was get alot of bad people to go and do bad things and think that they would still go to heaven.
it wasn't so much christianity as it was catholosism. christians were not the only ones guilty of doing such though. look at bin laden, he takes quotes from the Qur'an and claims they mean one thing but since he's taken them out of context when read in context it actually means something entirely different.
it happens with almost all religions. no i don't think it's right. what i think it really boils down to is greed, selfishness, hate and ignorance.

Because, in WWI and WWII, God was on the sides of the British--and the Germans, and the French, and the Russians (well, in WWI anyways), and the Poles, and the Italians...etc...etc...
