He is 17 and im 16.. we are in high school he is an exchange student and things are going great because we have developed a good friendship. He waits for me, walks down the halls with me, stares alot!!! and most of all he likes to tease me! today when i suggested that he should come to the dance because it would be fun he is like oh i dont want to... and he said that he finds them boring....
is he not interested to be more than friends?

Perhaps he really doesn't like dances and has nothing to do with liking you. How about asking him to go somewhere else?

perhaps he doesn't like to dance or perhaps he doesn't know how to dance.. or perhaps he had something else on mind that day or perhaps he already has a girlfriend.. hang out more and eventually u will find out.. trying giving him more hints.. or try talking about it.
