Small and hairy dog, that doesn't grow, cute too.

A terrier like Cairn Terriers or Yorkshire Terriers. They stay small and are real sweethearts. I worked at a boarding kennel and those were the nicest small dogs in there. They dont get nippy when they're older like other dogs. If you're looking at Chiuahuas, they do come in a long hair breed.

Well, all dogs are hairy but I assume you mean furry? A good furry SMALL one would be a longhaired chihuahua, (the chihuahua is considered the smallest toy breed) or a shih tzu. Both breeds come in a VERY large variety of colors. My further advice would be to Google those two breeds, or more, and see what they have that strikes your fancy. I'm planning on getting a chihuahua soon, myself. Good luck and have fun!

Yorkshire Terrier, Toy or Tea Cup Poodle, Papillion, Carin Terrier (Toto from Wizard of Oz), all are small, cute dogs that are furry and fuzzy and do not get real big.

Whatever you get do NOT get a Pekingese. I had a AKA Purebred one and it was the dumbest dog I ever had. I could not get that dog potty-trained for anything and he stunk because of his long hair dragging through the pee and poop. I had to bathe him 2-3 times a week and even that didn't help.

Yorkie and shitzu dont shed and are adorable and loveable. about $500-700 each unless you get them like at a pound, or rescue place. but I intend to buy one no matter the cost once I buy a home (3 or so more years from now)

We have a small Rat Terrier. He's kinda mean, and bites a lot, but I think that is just their nature. A Chihuahua (sp.) would be my next choice.

I like yorkies.....they are small about 4-7 pounds...have hair, but don't shed.....and are a lot of fun.......plus they can live in an apartment or on a farm (and everything in between)

its small, white, doesn't drop hair and is cute as!
I have one at home and shes so gorgeous.
They are happy, easygoing little things that have lots of love to give!!!!
