My Ex and I haven't spoken in 4 months and I haven't seen her in 7 months. I couldn't get her outta my system so I emailed her, I didn't expect a response because she has a new boyfriend but she did. It was small talk but it was a start. I just wanna know should I take things slow or let it go. Another question is that why would she email me back if she has a new boyfriend?

Hi!!!
Okay, I hope I can help...Here I go..
Somtimes people find a new "mate" to get there old one out of there system. Mabey she thought that would help...But then again..Depending on the break-up and the situation now. Does she really like her bf??? You prolly don't know the awnser to that though scence you haven't talked to her for 4 months. An email can be 1000 million different things...If it was just small talk..I wouldnt expect anything big to form soon though...But than agian..It just depends. I say you should try to take it slow..But don't give her up if your heart tells you not too..It least not yet.
Hope I could help!!!
XoXo

Maybe she is the type of girl that actually wants to be friends with her ex's. I'd say be her friend and wait for her but while your waiting for her look for another girl. Just in case if she thinks her boyfriend right now is the one. Then you'll have someone in your mind but still be friends with your ex just going out with someone else. and the bright side is that you get to know more things about your ex then before. Good Luck... and just out of curiousity who broke you two up. u or her?

Why did you email her, knowing she had a boyfriend now? You're better off to leave well enough alone. People are generally ex's for a reason.

I'd say that she's okay with being just friends with you. Not pursuing a relationship with you. She e-mailed you back because it would seem rude not to respond to an e-mail.

takes things very slow and proceed with extreme caution, and she wrote back because in one point in her life, you ment a whole lot to her...she may just wanna know how her friend is doing [you]
good luck with everything!

First of all you shouldn't have e-mailed her knowing she has a new boyfriend.the fact that she e-mailed you back could be that she was trying to be nice.Don't read something into the e-mail that is not there.Leave her alone .If she wants to get back with you she knows where to reach you!!!
