It appears to me that you are looking too hard...just go out with your friends and have fun, and when you least expect it, you will be approached by someone who is interested in YOU, instead of you being interested in them and approaching them. Most average guys are intimidated by an educated woman, so don't come off as being so educated, let that be something he learns after he's gotten to know you personally. As far as your personality, does it include humor? You may have a wonderful personality, but you may not be letting out your humor side for the world to see, because of the things that you like to do, study and learn, may be keeping you too serious on the outside. The next time you are out, keep an eye on yourself and see if you are laughing, telling funny stories and really having a good time, or are you just sitting there people watching and letting life pass you by? Just a few things for you to think about, it never hurts to tweak your personality. You are only 23, you have lots of time to find the right one for you.

Just a suggestion- maybe you should try to be more outgoing and more open to not only to other's feelings but also your OWN feelings. It is not absolutely necessary for a guy to like you first before you like him. Maybe you need to be less self-concious and let yourself go a little bit. Don't focus on getting asked out as much and work more on actually getting to know the people you meet. Eventually, you will meet someone who you feel a connection with and him to you. Remember, it's not a "problem." You are who you are. If you try to be someone you are not because you think you are " the problem", you might meet someone who is attracted to your false personality. Do you really want that?

Well..maybe you are just meeting the wrong kind of people or people don't find you approachable. Are you self confident and outgoing? Are you a good conversationalist? Do you have good flirting skills? Are you happy about life? Men approach women who are independent and happy. They don't like women who look like they want a bf. I mean as long as you are doing your "own thing" and enjoying life you will meet a lot of people along the way. Keep going out..with friends, movies, concerts, parks, gyms, just do what you enjoy doing and you will meet someone. You are young and nothing is wrong with being single. People look at it like it is so bad! Why? You can do what you want when you want and the best part you don't have arguments like other couples! LOL Just be HAPPY! Guys gravitate towards those kind of women. No drama queens please.

Go for the first move, thats how i get my boys, im smart, an athlete, and 100% clean person, people at my school think im all stuck up, because of the way i dress, but im not, i just have good clothing senses, but if i were you, i would put yourself out there a lil more, start wearing shirts that have lettering on them, so guys will be attracted to something on you for atleast a minute, and hey if they look longer, talk to them, or you say that your friends are saying that guys think your attractive, then let them set you up on say a "blind date" with that person then, i tried that and it worked out just fine, well i wish you the best of luck

Get together with some friends who provide some honest feedback as to how you come across to people;they could ask there friend with out letting them know who you are to "test" you and see what happens. If your best friends agree to do this.... you must promise that you will listen to what they have to say and not bite there hair off

Sometimes you just have to tell the guy. Right now their is this chick in my chemistry class who sounds just like you. We're lab buddies and we talk a lot. I'm really starting to like her, but if she doen't say anything about wanting to go out, I doubt I'll ever ask her.

Fate works in mysterious ways. Maybe you haven't dated anyone yet because they aren't "the one." When you find a guy worth dating, you'll know, and things will happen.
