Most girls dont have this but I do I am VERY hairy on my arms. I have more hair on my arms then this boy that sits behind me does. I wear sweatshirts every day because of it. It shows excpecially because they are really dark. A lot of people make fun of me when I just wear t-shirts it makes me angry. Sometimes I wish they made a thing that shaved your arms. Help me how do I get over this?

I have a problem like this....and if I had blonde hair youd never notice, but I have dark brown...I've never been made fun of...I just don't let it bother me and I wear t-shirts and try to confident with myself...shaving your arms would just make it grow back thicker...it's not like you can help it...its a hormonal balance issue.

You really shouldn't let it bother you, but if you want to shave them, go ahead and do it. You don't need a special tool, I just use a regular triple blade razor; same as I use on my legs.
Oh, and that whole thing about the hair coming back coarser and thicker? Myth. I did an experiment a few weeks ago, where I went a week without shaving either my arms or legs. End results:
Hair on legs: Still annoyingly coarse.
Hair on arms: Prickly from growing back in, but still baby fine.

You can shave or have electrolysis, there are many ways of removing hair either temporarily or permanently. Some people are rude and there is no cure for dumbness... but some guys will also find your hair pretty and a feature of beauty. Good luck, smile to life and life will smile back.

Relax, and the guys who are attracted to you will come to you. If it is a turnoff to someone, you will know it. Most people are not aware of it, but body hair growth and distribution depends on heredity, and where the testosterone receptors are on the body. By the way, both men AND women have testosterone in their bodies.

you shouldn't care if people make fun of you. it's not your fault that you have hairy arms, and you shouldn't have to were sweatshirts all of your life. if you had blond hair it wouldn't be so bad, but brown hair might not be so good.

There is NOTHING wrong with you. It has something to do with your genes. You should just tell yourself its not that bad because im sure its not, and besides sooner or later that boy sitting behind you will have much hairyer arms.

i have dark hair on my arms too. and people pick on me. but usually, people dont notice it unless you point it out. dont worry about them. one of my best friends shaves her arms... i wouldnt suggest it. once you shave them, you have to keep on or else your hair will grow back coarse, like on your legs. &there is nothing wrong with you... its normal for a lot of girls!

actually its not uncommon to shave your arms, lots of people do it, you just have to keep doing it though thats the problem. You can also bleach them so they aren't so noticable.

girl don't worry about that just wax or shave and keep it going worry if your head hair starts falling out early.
