In the Bible it says that, God will never give us a test that we cannot overcome. Is temptation a test? Is there situations where temptation is just simply impossible to overcome? Or is temptation a test, that we will always have the ability to overcome?

God doesn't test people, but Satan does. God just allows Satan to do it. However, God does have control over exactly what Satan can do. Keep in mind it will make one stronger in their walk. God was the power to do all things, including sending the holy spirit to help people. a person can pray for help from God to keep them strong. Really, I person cannot overcome anything by themselves. It is God that powers us to do things, even things we know we CANNOT do

We will always be tempted with certain things. I think it is a test. I have been tested so many times and sometimes I fail and sometimes I pass. God will never put to much us on that we cannot handle. As far as the test on temptation we can pass through God and trust and faith we can do it. If we fail once then we know the tricks and mistakes why we didn't pass the first time.

Temptation is from the devil and yes, God allows the devil to tempt us. Just look at the story of Job...As for wether we can overcome all temptation, in my heart I believe we can but my actions don't always show this.

Temptation is a test, and something you can certainly overcome. But...you are the one who makes this choice and will have to live with the consequences of your actions. Remember, if you make a misstep, He is there for you, He wants you to learn from you mistakes and your triumphs and no one is perfect! Good luck to you.

Could you please cite your reference to that in the Bible. We have agency. Our agency gives us the ability to overcome temptation. Temptations can be thought of as tests or as opportunities to learn and grow.

Temptation vs necessitation!

Temptation is something you are tempted to indulge in. Therefore it's a choice. Whatever you are tempted to indulge in is not a necessitated object for you to live.

James 1:13 "Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He HIMSELF TEMPT ANYONE." That being said, temptations do not come from God.
