When I started therapy It hurt when I would bend backwards. Now it hurts when I bend forward or try to bend over to do anything. He said that there is nothing he could do. The pain should have went away. I have mild scoliosis, facet syndrome, and my neck vertebra is straight instead of curved. Today I have found lumps on my back near my spine. Any suggestions?

JENNIFER,
CHIROPRACTORS ARE THERE TO GET YOU OUT OF PAIN NOT GIVE YOU MORE OF IT.
IT'S IMPORTANT TO STETCH DAILY AND TO MAINTAIN A LIMBER CORE. IF IT HURTS DON'T DO IT. PAIN IS THERE TO HAVE YOU AVOID DAMAGE.
ps Tigger really meant to spell orthopedist not orthodontist (for teeth braces),lol

Try seeing a physician that specializes in interventional pain management. He can inject your facets to relieve the pain as well as give trigger point injections for any muscle spasms. Furthermore, I hope you learned that you do not need to see a chiro anymore.

how about pilates? it has done wonders for my neck shoulder and back pain. there is another woman with scoliosis who does the class and has found it great. it is especially good to do something proactive yourself about it rather than relying on a medical practitioner to do it for you.... good luck, sounds like the chiro is not for you. also, my dad has back problems and went to a chiro but it was no good for him....

I would stop going to the back cracker. They are good for some things, but you obviously are having more serious back problems. I would suggest that you find a good Orthopedic doctor and make an appointment with him/her.

Thats your problem!! Stop the Chiro!! You need to see a real doctor. Go to an orthopedic doctor. You should know better with all those problems you got.

It's time to see an orthopedist, a real MD. Your condition could get worse.

Your health and well being are far to important to be asking questions on Yahoo Answers -- see a DOCTOR and ask him.

I agree that it is time to see an orthodontist. You may also want to start with a general practitioner, in case something else is awry.

Good luck!
